2 YEARS POST-RN BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN NURSING
In today’s complex health care system, nurses require a wide range of knowledge and skills to keep pace with the increasing complexity of the health care system. It is the only degree program that furnishes nurses with the advance concepts in nursing, enables them to practice on a continual basis to ensure quality care.
Keeping in mind the importance of university level / BSCN and paradigm shift of diploma program to degree program it is a great endure of the Pakistan Nursing Council and Government of Pakistan. Internationally this change has already been taken place almost fifty years ago. The Post RN BScN is designed to prepare nurses who can provide evidence-based practice a critical thinkers and leaders in the preventions of illness and promotion of health in the hospital as well as in the community. Baccalaureate nurses will bring changes in nursing practice to meet emerging health needs. Graduates of this program will have the educational foundation to pursue advanced study such as the Master’s degree and Ph.D.
